Not getting any error messages

    Hi,

    sorry if this is a dumb question, but I've looked at the forums and google and can't find an answer, so I hope someone here can help.

    My problem is that I'm not getting any error messages when maintenance plan or job fails. All I get is something like the following. Any ideas whats wrong and how to fix it?

    Martin,

    the "real" error messages for maintenance plans can be found in the log files. Usually they should be in the default log directory for your SQL Server instance.
