Hey...my first time here, please be easy on me. I am a Systems Admin, not a DBA. How I wish I was though.
I have been through much trouble getting report services up and running, task complete though. But now that we are about to go to production, I must enable Certificate Trust Lists (CTLs) for access to the sites. Has anyone experienced this? https://mysrever/reportserver is fine, but https://myserver/reports I get the error, The request failed with HTTP status 403: Forbidden.
It does ask for the digital certificate and PIN, and then serves the error.
Any ideas?! Thanks in advance

I failed to mention, SQL 2005 reporting services installed on a stand alone 2003 sever. 2003 has SP1 and SQL 2005 has SP1. The DB server is also SQL 2005 on 2003 server with all SP, stand alone.

I wrote an article for this site about six months ago on installing with certificates... not specifically CTLs; but the tips for editing the files, and a link to an MSDN page where other details were uncovered should prove valuable to you. How to edit those files is not crystal clear. There is a whole series of possible failures.
Thank-you,
David Russell
