I am in the automation process of my project and I need to create several DTS packages, the simple ones that go out and do a straight import on the file I have figured out. What I want to be able to do next is learn about how to maniuplate data as I am loading it, which is the next logical step, where can I read up on this that will show me actual examples? I would prefer web based resources if possible, books are fine but with the things on the web, they tend to be more boiled down.
Thanks,
Richard

SQL Books Online is the good place to go.

See http://www.sqldts.com/ . If you change your mind about a book, my favorite is 'Professional SQL Server 2000 DTS' by Chaffin, Knight & Robinson.
