adding article to subscription using concurrent snapshot processing

    I have a publication and I add a new article. Is there a way to push just the new article without re-initializing the entire snapshot? This problem is mentioned here:

    I presume that transactional replication in SS2005 works similarly to SS2000. In that case, when you add an article to a publication (I find it easiest to do this through EM), restart the snapshot agent (without performing a reinit), then only the newly added article(s) schema and data will be generated and posted to the distributor.
