SSRS and number of rows retrieved from query

    Hi All,

    I'm hoping you can help. I am hitting a database that has a little over 1000 records

    which I confirmed when I query the db with SQL 2005 SS mgmt studio. When I use the same query

    in reproting services ( under the data tab), I do not seem to be able to retrieve all the rows.

    As a result, when I preview my report I have retrieved only 30  or 40 rows.

    Under options and database tools, I set the number of rows to unlimited, and also to a smaller number such as

    290, to no avail.

    Is this default behavior of SSRS, and if so, how can I fix it?

    How many pages are created when running the query? Did you try running it in the data set tab to see what all is being returned before previewing the report?
