ODBC Drivers error ''80040e4d''

    Hello, great help from this site! I got other problems solved now get this error: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers error '80040e4d' [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user.... Our web site uses ASP pages to connect to the database. I think this is an issue with the user account and perhaps which authentication method (I have it set to use Mixed). Do I need also to create an account for a local user and put that in the log on in MSSQLSERVER (in Services; the old server had that to start SQL service). Thanks.

    try connecting via management studio with the user account/password and see if it works and what you can do. if it works, change the password in the website code and try it again
