Since upgrading to 2005 from SQL 2000 I've noticed that I'm unable to enter a carriage return in a field when entering data directly into the table. Normally I'd be able to press SHIFT+ENTER and start a new line however when I try this in 2005 I get moved out of the row.
Why is this and is there any way to overcome it. It's extremely inconvenient!
thanks.

Are you doing the data entry through the table directly or using some front end tool?

Data entry directly into the table. I know its possibly not the best way to operate, but for quickness when I'm developing I find it easier.
