Remote Backup Problem

    Hi! i'm a newbie in MS SQL 2000, so please bear with me....Just want to ask if it is possible to backup or create a backup device in a network drive? Because everytime i tried to create a new backup device and clicked the browse button a popup will appear asking me for a backup device location...In the header of the pop up says "Backup device location - (local)"..Is it possible to do a full database backup(disk) in another pc??

    It's possible.  SQL Server Agent must run as a domain account and must have permission to write to the remote location.  When creating the backup device, enter a UNC path rather than browsing (which only sees local drives).
