Am not getting much feedback on this so here is what I think I might do, am currently working in SQL , so I create a connections to my access database and then transfer the data in the view to the SQL DB, then within a Execute SQL Task in a DTS package I could perform my join between the 2 views as I have them now my SQL server... only thing is do I need a way of updating the access view I have now made in SQL...
If the data is important enough to be used in SQL server, I'd consider getting it moved into SQL for the back end. You could still use Access as a front end, but it scales much better.
