Does anyone know how setting and using email subscription in SQL Server 2005 ? I follow the instruction on MSDN when creating subscription, but it still cannot run...
I had configured the email settings in the reporting services configuration.I had previously run the report from SQL Management Studio and it run well. The database that generate the report come from another server. When I run manually the jobs by right clicking the job, and click "start job", the job run successfully. But I never received the email delivery of the report.
Im using outlook express (not Microsoft Outlook) --> is this problem ? or is there anything else I miss when configuring the email subscription ? because im new to SQL Reporting Services
thanks in advance....

Have you checked your log files for clues as to why the subscription/email is failing? They're typically found under the install directory.

The error message in log file SQLAgent.OUT is "An attempt was made to send an email when no email session has been established".
Is there anything I miss when setting up the email configuration ?
