hello again!
I currently do not have administrator access to the 4 SQL Servers I would like to keep reports on, but I would like to be able to monitor performance and maintenance plans. (WinServer2003 and WinNT)
What is a good strategy for being able to monitor these elements if I cannot access each server with an admin account ? Is it possible to simply monitor performance/backups/integrity/etc through enterprise manager for reports ?
thanks!

how can I be granted access to monitor through client access Enterprise Manager (from an XP machine) without disturbing the function of each SQL Server ?
this is probably an annoyingly simple situation, but I'd really appreciate the help.
thanks!

Please don't cross post. Most of the forum users (like me) tend to read all the categories. See my reply in the other thread on this topic.
