Restoring Corrupted DB!

  Hi All,

   

  I have a problem in retrieving my database:

  My server was not working because of an electricity problem but I could retrieve the DB backup's files.

  I tried to restore them but every time the SQL server 2000 gives me the following error:

  Error 3242: The file on device (…) is not a valid Microsoft Tap Format backup set.

  RESTORE FILELIST is terminating abnormally.

  How could I skip that error? Is their any way to restore the DB again??

  Hi Omari,

  can you send the *.mdf & *.ldf file of your database to me.
