I have created a report in VS.net and can preview the report without any problems. I also successfully deployed it to the Report Server with no errors. But, when I go to the Report Manager to view the report, I get the following error:
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Cannot create a connection to data source 'dsname'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
Does anyone know what is causing this error? Previously, I have only worked with sample reports on my localhost. So, I'm not sure if there's a problem with the Report Server settings or what. I am connecting to the server using SQL Server Authentication and not Windows authentication. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!

In report manager navigate to the report. click on it to run it.
Click the properties tab on top. select data sources on the left and configure your data source for that report.
The ds in visual studio is not the same as in report manager.

I went to the report manager and the datasource was already configured there. What do you mean that it is not the same in VS as in the report manager? I also navigated to the report through the report server and viewed the xml file of the datasource there and it seems to be correct.
One other thing, I think in my original post I said that I was receiving the rsErrorOpeningConnection from the report manager. Actaully, I receive that error when I try to view it in the report server. When I'm in the Report Manager and try to view the report, I get:
The Page cannot be displayed error.
