Automate new Cube Partitions

    Good day,

    I have a cube that is being partitioned off by month.  I want to automate a way (or at least get a script to manually run) to create the new partition.  I do not see anywhere to script the command, and I figured I would ask here before I try and turn on profiler (only one environment, and it is used, so there would be a lot to dig thru)

    I don't you create all partitions when developing the cube?

    You just need to have a different view or named query for each partition.

    As a Best Practice when possible I restrict a cube/database to have just one year (either fiscal or civil year). This way you create database for year.
