SQL2005 Installtion ...

    did anybody try to change the installtion path during the SQL2005 installtion? If so please tell me how to change it . I didn't see it on GUI during the installation .

    I know this trick.. change the ProgramFilesDir data in registry . I don't want to do this . I need something other than this ..

    Basically on the Feature Selection dialog, the one with the feature tree, you can select a node on the tree and the Browse button at the bottom of the dialog will become active. You can set the install path by clicking the Browse button and selecting the path you want to install to.
