How to import Excel Data into More than One Tables

  • Hi, I have a new mission to update ACCESS tables everyday with a Excel file and tried to use the import wizard to do it.  But the import wizard only works for one table.

    Did anyone have the experience to import Excel data into more than one related tables?  What is the best way to do it? 

    Any suggestions and advices are apprecaited.  Thank you!

  • Suggest you import all the data onto a temporary table, then you can process to related tables as required

  • Does your Excel file have more than one worksheet? If this is the case you can create a linked table to each worksheet and run append queries from each of them in turn.
