    Is anyone aware of a public SQL server that I can connect to for some ODBC developement?

    you don't need public resources....you could download MSDE (cut-down version of SQL Server) and create databases privately.

    I've got a full copy of SQL on my machine, but that wasn't my question.  Is anyone aware of a public SQL server that I can get access to?
