Installation problem with Yukon CTP June Edition -''Not Compatible with OS''

    Hi,

    My system is using WinXP Professional with SP2, VS.NET 2003 Professional, SQL Server 2000 Developer with SP4.

    After installing .NET Framework Beta 2, follow by SQL Server 2005 CTP June edition, it

    reported of 'Not compatible with current OS'.

    Any one got any solution to this issue. Thank

    Which edition of SQL Server 2005 June CTP are you trying to install?

    I don't think any of the server versions (Enterprise, Standard, and possibly Workgroup) will work on a Windows XP box. They require Windows server 2003.

    Developer Edition however should install into Windows XP.

    Hi,

    I am using the Enterprise version of SQL Server 2005 CTP June edition.

    That explain why it reported that my OS is incompatible with.

    Thank a lot for your advise.

    I will look for a copy of the Developer edition then.
