Smart Tabs in Query Editor

  • I guess I'm a dope, but I can't get the bloody things to work. I've read the BOL. I've done searches on this site. I can't find anything. Anyone have some advice?

  • Never mind. I am a dope.

Just in case there are one or two more people as stupid as I (or worse, more stupid), SQL doesn't support Smart Indents, but it does support Block Indents, but when you set the default for text editing to be Smart, you'll get no indents at all in SQL files. Simply picking block as the default will get you the block indents.

Geez do I feel like a dolt.

  • Don't feel bad - you're not alone.
