SQL Server Migration Assistant

    Hi,

    Does SQL Server Migration Assistant have support for SQL 7 or 2000 to SQL Server 2005 data migration? Anyone knows this product, please inform me about its features and capabilities.

    Yes Marlon,

    the migration assistent supports both SQL2000 and SQL 7. Basically what it does is checking your server and databases for any incompatibilites. Like using code which is no longer supported or insufficient hardware.
