We have set up a linked server from SQL server 2000 SP3a to IBM DB2 mainframe version 7.1. The linked server is using Microsoft OLE DB provider for ODBC drivers to connect to a dsn. The dsn is set up using DB2 connect/DB2 ODBC driver to connect to the mainframe. All is working fine until multiple users begin updating and inserting into the DB2 tables. After a short period of time, SQL begins to take minidumps indicating memory errors. Here is the text of the error from the exception log: 04/29/05 10:16:13 spid 64 Exception 0xc0000005 EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION at 0x1493CE92. Has anyone out there encountered a similar problem?

Open a case to Microsoft.
Which MDAC version do you have in that server?
