Hi,
could someone tell if it's possible to synchronize a database between sql server ce and sql server 2005 express? Or if this could be only done between sql server 2005 and sql server ce.
Thanks id advance,
Nuno Silva

CE only supports merge replication (as far as I know) and, from MSDE, it only supports Merge in both directions (transactional subscriber not publisher, and snapshot are also available). So yes, CE + Express should be good as MS haven't taken away merge replication.
Do a search on MS website to see if merge replication is still there in Express just to be sure.

Hi again,
it seems that sql server 2005 express only supports act as a subscriber and not as a publisher.
"SQL Server 2005 Express Edition cannot serve as a Publisher or Distributor. However, merge replication allows changes to be replicated in both directions between a Publisher and Subscriber."
I need to make a synchorization between a sql server express and mobile batabases, could you help with any suggestion?
Thanks in advance,
Nuno Silva.
