  Hi,

  Due to company policies, we need to have two separate roles to Administered the Analysis Services (OLAP Administrator) and managing the AS roles. As it can be done in SQL Server 2000 using the role securityadmin.

  Is it possible to do it in AS. If not, do you have any ideas on how to do it?

  As far as I know, it can't be done, you're either in the (OLAP) Admins group or you're not.  You *could* write your own front end to manage the roles etc and then try to stop people using the console (Analysis Manager) but this is very loose security at best.
