Morning,
I have a database that is filled by a form developed in Access. I have gone into Enterprise Manager and changed the permissions on a table to allow people to select the table, it is used as a drop down menu. If I chagne the permissions to SELECt they can look at the drop down and select from it. Almost every morning I come in an have to select the permissions again give them select permissions and it is fine for roughly 24 hours then it changes to no permissions selected. Any Ideas, I am sure I am missing something easy but can't figure it out. Thanks

Is the database rebuilt nightly? Any jobs running nightly that affect permissions? Sounds like there is a script running that re-assigns permissions daily...

The tables are actually dropped and re-created on an hourly basis during normal operation hours because of the information being pulled across being so time sensitive. We do this on several tables and do not have any of the smae problems. I will look at the DTS Package and the schedule and see if it conflicts with anything else going on. Thanks for the help.

Why not truncate / reinsert??
Might save you the permission problem in this case.

I would check the job that drops/re-creates the tables and look at the permssions for the objects that are having the problem. It looks like your additional permissions was not an original part of these tables and the GROUP or USERS are not granted permissions .....
