  Anyone out there using People Soft running on SQL Server 2000???

  We have a process in which PeopleSoft executes a stored proc that does some inserts across 2 different databases on 2 seperate servers using a link server.

  The process works just fine in Query Analyzer, but when executed via People Soft, we get the following error:

  [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server][OLE/DB providor returned message: New transaction cannot enlist in the specified transaction coordinator.]

  Any ideas???

  Do you use Microsoft Transaction server ? there is a table MTS_PROXY_INFO which has to be truncated and the process restarted.
