As a complete SQL Server newbie (and DBA wannabe), I need a good reference text for SQL programming for beginners. I have very little experience w/ both writing SQL and SQL Server admin.
need some serious help, I am taking over production instance in three weeks!

Then what about a 21 days books
I normally think that if you want to get average knowledge on any software, 21 days books are ok (mind you that is my perception)
