Text File Source issue

    We have set up a DTS that imports a text file from the network into our sql db.   This is a fixed width file that each row is 920 positions.   On 1 machine you can see the properties fine but on the other you can not.  

    The machine opens the file and all of the adjustments are gone.   Has anyone had this happen or have any suggestions

    Both machines are running SQL 2000 clients with SP3a, Office 2000 pro with sp1, xp sp2, Mdac2.8 sp 1.

    We have been unable to fix this issue.

    I can't recall having that exact problem but I have run into many strange things using text objects so I try using Bulk inserts or Openquery syntax as much as I can (they are both quicker too!!).
