    Can you read your error log and tell us more error related to this database?

    There is likely a reason in the error log that gives a clue as Mom mentioned.

    I seem to recall that happening to me a while back. I think I detached the db, reattached it, then everything was fine.     Not sure why

    Hi,

    first run sp_resetstatus <dbname>

    then restart your server and see if it is fine.

    I sometimes see this with my user databases if SQL Server is shutdown with users still connected.  All I do is detach and attach the database and everything is fine.
