How do I run a Sql Profiler trace from the command Line

    Morning people,

    I've just spent some time building a trace  to be rolled out to several Servers. I want the traces to run for a few hours a day at peak times. I'd like to run it from the command line, How? is this the best way to run this ? Any other suggestions and a set of instructions would also be gratefully accepted.

    Take a look at the sp_trace_setstatus topic in Books on Line.  You could write a command to open an isql session and use this to set the status to 0 (off) or 1 (on).  Hope this helps.
