I might be blind guys. I just got a copy of 2005 and still trying to navigate through the new manager screen, of course I am lost!!!
One question though, how can I create a DTS from the new manager!!! Help, I know is a matter of getting use to where everything is, but with only the DVD and no other documentation I do not know how. Thank you

SQL Server 2005 splits managment tasks from development tasks. You need to use the Business Intelligence Development Studio to create DTS (now called Integration Services) packages.

The only way to create SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services - the replacement for DTS) packages from SQL Server management Studio (SSMS) is to use the import/export wizard which builds a package on the fly.
Really though, the only way to build your own from scratch is using the Business Intelligence Development Studio.
Check out my blog for further info (see link below) and search on the web for Donald Farmer, Kirk Haselden and Ashvini Sharma's blogs. Donald has also done some introductory videos which you will find very helpful. You will find them on MSDN TV.
