DTS ERROR

I am having a problem with DTS.
The DTS package which was scheduled and it has been working fine all thesed days but now gives error message "EXECUTION WAS CANCELLED BY USER" .
Even though the sql agent job says it is succesful but if you look at the time it is zero and there is no data in the table.
There is no visual basic involved here.
Is there any bug in the service pack.
We are using sqlserver 2000 on windows.
Your time on this greatly appreciated.

What does the package do?
I've come across this frequently when the package contains an ExecutePackage task. The only way I got around it was to start a new package from scratch. In the end I replaced all the ExecutePackage tasks with ExecuteProcess tasks that call DTSRUN.EXE

Check the steps in your package to make sure they haven't got timeout values that could be timing out
