changin the logins from standard to windows authentication

    Hi all,

    We have some logins in our server that uses standard authentication.I am going to change them to windows authentication.For eg there is a login sree which is a standard authentication.I need to change sree to windows authentication assuming sree has a windows account.Do I have to delete and create a new login with sree as a windows account and recreate all the properties of that login or is there any simple way of doing this?

    I would suggest that instead of individual logins that you create a DOMAIN Group and add that group to the DB access. Then it should work as pass-through authentication.
