Hi
I have a transactional replication set up on 2 SQL Servers
2000 SP3 on Windows 2000 SP4. On of the servers is
publisher but the other one is distributor and subscriber
at the same time - it hosts the distribution and non-updatable pull subscription databases. What happens in this situation when
I pull out the network cable at the publisher and plug it
back in after a while? Will the replication continue to
work or will I need to reinitalize the subscription?

Many thanks,
Osk

I am not sure, but I guess, when you remove the network cable of the Publisher, the transaction log backups will contiue to happen (provided your T-log backups destination is on the Publisher). However, the T-Log backups wont get transferred to the Distributor and wont be applied to Subscriber.
Once, you plug-in the network cable, all processes will start again and work fine.
