SAGE Line 500

    This is a long shot, but I am looking for some help

    Have just taken over administration of an SQL 2000 Database which has Sage Line 500 installed

    Each time I try to connect, I get the error

    Socket Connection Failed - Error Code 10061

    Can anyone assist with a resolution?

    Sorry, no experience. Sounds like it might be trying to connect to the wrong port. Is the SQL Server perhaps running on a different port? Check the server network utility.

    Thanks for your response.

    It eventually turned out that there was an invalid value in one of the Sage tables that had been copied from another server
