Hi all. Im fortunate enough to be in the position of having a backup file which did not complete (90% then failed due to network write error).
I now need to retrieve a table from this backup file.
I have opened the bak file in ultraedit, and can see that the table I require is in the file.
Does anyone know of any tools or anything that is able to retrieve data from the backup file ? Ive had a stab at writing a program myself to do it, but its not easy, alhough I have no doubt it is possible.
Thanks a lot for any advice

LiteSpeed for SQL Server (from Imceda software) supports object level recovery. Using this product you will be able to restore individual tables from a full backup file (native or compressed litespeed format). They have a free download at http://www.imceda.com you should try out.
