I've been checking through Ken Henderson's book but I can't decide if I fully understand the allocation of memory to the various pools etc.
so .. I have 30Gb AWE allocated ( no 3gb switch ) 32 bit W2003 Ent I'm trying to decide if the memory for locks/connections/proc cache etc. is being squeezed . Any pointers would be useful - proc cache fluctuates up to almost 1 Gb but I still only have a hit ratio of 58% ( yes it's poor apps and code <grin> )
thanks
