Hi,
Does anyone sucessfully imported a DTS stored in SQL Server 2000 into SQL Server 2005?
Thanks in advance.

I dont have expereince in doing this. but from what I saw of the SQL Server 2005 DTS package you will not be able to map one-to-one of these packages. The architecture has changed drastically. But having said that, I saw a wrapper job in DTS2005 that can execute DTS2000 packages. Did you even try to explore that?

I'm anxiously awaiting to test this myself. We have to wait for the public release of the Yukon Beta, but I would hope Microsoft would give us something to run all of our 2000 DTS packages in Yukon since we have so many!

I did a quick work for this and found you can indeed call the DTS 2000 packages from SQL 2005 DTS using the "Execute DTS 2000 Package Task Editor". The config for the same is very very simple and looks like:
The config is very very simple and easy to execute ...
