I have a problem with a table and could use some good advice.
My table, tbl_A is no longer allowing itself to be updated from a long standing DTS package - prompting me to check it out. From Query Analyser all looks well - a select query shows all the correct data as expected.
From Enterprise Manager, however, even though the Design View shows the correct fields, the Open Table, Show All Rows, shows the exact contents of a completely different and unconnected table - tbl_RA.
Has anybody any ideas? I have a lot of people connected and am hoping not to have to reboot the server.
Many thanks
Paul

Could someone have changed ownership of the table? What is the error message you are getting from DTS?

Hi
Thanks for replying. The table remains dbo.
The DTS package is now working again?? On Friday it was returning a primary key conflict - as if the SQL was trying to input a second unique identifier (which I checked, and it wasn't).
Today the DTS is running, but the Enterprise Manager is still showing the contents of the wrong table, yet the correct design???
If we just concentrate on the fact that, in Enterprise Manager, the table design is correct but the contents (Return All Rows) show the contents of a completely different table???? I know this sounds crazy, but it is absolutely what is happening.
There is, I guess, some sort of corruption?? I am just hoping somebody else has witnessed the same thing.......
Please help.......
