Hi,
My machine (2.8 Ghz , 512 MB RAM) is running on XP SP2. With SQL Server 2000 Can I install SQL Server 2005 Beta ? on the same ??. Pls advise.
Thank You

Sure can, as long as you install SQL2005 as a separate instance. If you don't know what you chose for SQL2000, it's probably default so when you run the setup.exe for SQL2005, you will eventually get to the "instance name" dialog about 8 dialogs into the installation. Choose the "named" radio button and enter in a name for your service. Remember that SQL 2005 is still a beta, so there is no guarentees that installing/uninstalling both versions might not cause any issues so don't put this on a machine that your not willing to flatten if anything goes wrong. Enjoy!
