Unable to locate sqlsui.dll after apply SP3a

    Hello,

    after applying SQL Server W2K SP3a i can't use the SQL Server 2000 Licensing Setup located in the Control Panel. When i try to use it i received a pop-up message: Error locating DLL. Unable to locate sqlsui.dll.

    But the dll is located on the correct place and the enviroment varialbles are correct.

    Try already to replace the dll and other files dependt on this dll. Problem still exist.

    Running SQL 2000 Standard Edition with SQL Windows 2000 Server.

    Can't find nothing about this problem researching the internet and Knowledgebase.

    Any suggestions ?

    Hello again,

    problem is fixed.

    I checked the sqlsui.dll with a dependency scanner and found that a dll (sqdedev.dll) was missing. After copy the dll from the sp3 directory to the SQL Binn directory all works fine.
