backup error

    Hi,

    Does anyone have any idea about this error message and know how to resolve it

    The backup data in 'backup job' is incorrectly formatted. Backups cannot be appended, but existing backup sets may still be usable.

    It certainly seems like a problem with the headers. Can you post your backup statement to review, please?

    I think you need to delete this file and initialize a new one for SQL Server backups.
