I'm trying to install the SP1 version of notification services. I have a
local account with admin priveledges trying to run SetupSamples.cmd. It
starts out proceeding nicely until it tries to run
C:\PROGRA~1\MICROS~3\v2.0.3008.0\Samples\..\bin\GrantXpExec.cmd
This cmd file is not found. Sure enough, it does not get unpacked to that
directory and does not exist anywhere on the local drives. Does anyone have an idea why this file isn't installed along with
everything else? Where can I get the file?
Thanks for any suggestions...

Hi,
Did you ever find the answer to this problem. I have found other forums where people have had this problem but i have been unable to find a solution.
Any help, much appreciated.
Cheers

Sadly I gave up and 'rolled my own' notifcation service for this particular app. If you find a solution please share! I've been thinking of giving another try pretty soon.

Hi,
I had a similar problem when I installed the standard version of Notification Services. GrantXPExec.cmd was not installed... But, I tried it after installing the Enterprise version and it worked!! For some reason, the file does not get unpacked in the standard version...
