Pastable Postings

    Ok, what am I doing wrong?

    I copy some code from QA and then paste it into a topic reply between "code" delimiters. It pastes ok, but if I copy that same stuff from the topic and paste back into QA then I get no line breaks in it.

    SQL code inserted by other people will paste nicely into QA for me. What do they know that I don't? Aaargh!

    same thing happens to me.

    Pasting code into QA sometimes yields an error, and I get mad how people can post such code but then only a line break is missing.

    One of the great copy and paste mysteries that's yet to reveal
