Hi there
I have a deadlock issue. An application that is sending invoices into the financial department is blocking due to a deadlock.
When I look under Management, Lock info, i don't see a lock on the db itself but on the master db. I have 1 spid, 59, that holds master.dbp_spt_values from the masterdb & temp.dbo.##lockinfo.59. These spids are not killable. I already restarted the server.
I already installed the sp_lock2 from microsoft.
Can anyone help please ?

Sounds like SQL 6.5, any ways Launch a trace flag and see what other transactions going on. Also use sp_who2 in QA
Check out the following one
