Error 14294 - Cannot create publication

    Hello

    I am trying to create a new publication on a SQL 2k server and I am getting the following error:

    SQL Server EM could not create publication 'DB Name' from database 'DB Name'.

    Error 14294: Supply either @job_id or @job_name to identify the job.

    Why am i getting this error and how cani resolve it ?

    Which Service pack is installed ? I once saw this error at a customer and the reason was that SQL server was looking for a stored procedure which comes with SP3, but the customer had restored the master database including only SP2.

    Check if all stored procedures are available and maybe reinstall SP3
