When I started AS this morning, I clicked to expand the server and received the following message:
Invalid object name 'OlapObjects'
I queried the OlapRepository database and everything seems fine, however both of my OLAP databases have gone missing from Analysis Manager. The data files are still around. In other words, the physical files are in the appropriate directory on the server, but the OLAP databases are gone.
Any ideas what might have happened?
Thanks for your help!

Are any of theobjects owned by anyone other than DBO? Have you found a solution and what is the entire message?

Hi,
I actually ended up reinstalling Analysis Services, which was probably overkill, but I just could absolutely not get the databases to show up in Analysis Manager. Not sure why. Anyway, then I had to go through the whole migration of the OLAPRepository and the resulting mess from that because naturally when you reinstall AS defaults back to the mdb repository. It does not overwrite the mdb during a reinstall, so I ended up with this old copy of the repository and went through a series of steps to finally get everything up to date.
Thanks for your interest!
