Hi, I am importing a table from Pervasive 2000 database to SQL Server 2000. The source table has a text field which stores messages, when I copy that column over to SQL server I get an error saying "Cannot instantiate Storage Object for source column Blob data." The destination column in SQL Server is "TEXT". I feel that the source column does not have a BLOB in it as it is just a test message field. Can someone help me with this. I have coping the complete error message below. Error Source: Microsoft Data Transformation Services (DTS) Data Pump. Error Description:Cannot instantiate Storage Object for source column 4 ('Mtx_Text') Blob data. Error Help File:sqldts80.hlp. Error Help Context ID:30701Error Source: Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC DriversError Description:Multiple-step OLE DB operation generated errors. Check each OLE DB status value, if available. No work was done. Error Help File: Error Help Context ID:0 @@SourceRow: Not Available @@DestRow: Not Available
