Long lines are very difficult to read.
Please wrap the lines.

That's because there is a long line (line 4) in a <pre> tag that shouldn't be.

Analysis services is one of those areas of SQL Server that I have never investigated but have always wanted to. Thanks for the intro article - very timely repost actually since our new software will have reports that will benefit greatly from what AS has to offer... THANKS!

Below is my MDX query,can you please let me know how do you filter for previous day , week and month...

Sometimes you read something and it just takes off in terms of comprehensibility (unlike what I am writing here). It happened to me with Brian Noyes book on Data Binding with Windows Forms 2.0 and Keith Henry has that same magic.
So thank you for a concise but comprehensive, and above all readable, introduction to this esoteric subject.
