Hi all,
has anyone else who is subscribed to SQL Server Mag received an email from europe@sqlmag.com which asks for taking a short survey and as an incentive a free SQL Server Mag Baseball cap. Seems to be aimed at european Subscribers!?!
Cheers,
Frank

I already receive those mails asking if I wanna be friend to ???.
Short surveys I like best. I only did this for the baseball cap. Not for me, but for my son, of course

although I wonder why asking for the adress, because SQL Server Mag already has this information
I'll post, when I receive mine (or the first virus or spam warning)!

SQL Server Magazine uses a 3rd party, so that's one reason for asking for the shipping address. Another reason is if you're getting the magazine at work but want the hat to go to your residence.
BTW, I've participated in a survey before and it's not a hoax. Got the hat, too, well, until my son (5) decided he wanted to wear "Daddy's Hat" and you know how that ended. I've got a Veritas hat to replace it, though.

I completed it again. I liked the SQL Server hat and my son won't give it up. Now, what will probably happen is my 4 year-old will see it and want it and I'll be back to the Veritas hat.
