Log shipping

    Hi,

    I am about to set up log shipping. Is it necessary for me to disable the nightly backups on the primary server or I can keep them with the log shipping after set up.

    I got an answer from a MS white paper that says I can set up other full/diff backups with log shipping. I am testing this now to see if it disrupts the log shipping.

    Oh, that's good news -- I'm particularly interested in this as I'll be doing some log ship testing next week! Do you have a URL for that white paper?
